INTRODUCTION
The growth of industrialization in Indonesia increased around the 1990s, where many foreign investors considered Indonesia to be a country that offered the best investment climate among ASEAN countries. At that time, people took advantage of this opportunity to offer industrial land and buildings that were ready to be used by foreign investors to carry out manufacturing activities in this area.
At the CCIE location, there is a former limestone mining area managed by PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa where the remaining limestone deposits no longer meet the requirements for the cement industry at that time. Apart from that, around CCIE, there are many sources of labor with basic skills who are ready to be trained to become export oriented and labor intensive factory workers.

PT Cibinong Center Industrial Estate (PT CCIE) is the manager of the Industrial Estate which covers an area of 97 Hectares. PT CCIE was established on August 10, 1989 on the former quarry land of the cement factory of PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (PT ITP) located at Kampung Pasir Tangkil RT 013 RW 005 Bantarjati Village, Klapanunggal District, Bogor Regency.
PT CCIE is a joint business unit of PT ITP and PT Adi Mulya, which is engaged in the management, development and service of industrial estates. Over time, PT CCIE now focuses more on service activities in the form of leasing offices, land and buildings to function as office business activities, industrial activities, manufacturing and so on, including as warehouses for storage of goods.

HISTORY
10 August 1989: PT Cibinong Center Industrial Estate was established with deed number 149.
1989 - 1992: Preparation process for industrial area development, including buildings and infrastructure.
1993: Designation and determination of part of the industrial area's business area as a bonded area.
2001: Revocation of bonded area status.
